LITTLE GREEN | HEDDON STREET

For those who have been fans of the Daisy Green Collection over the years, I’m sure that you were equally as excited as me to find out that they recently had a new addition to their family. Located just off the well known Regent Street, this lovely gem is tucked away in a beautiful Grade-II listed former cinema building on Heddon Street, the Mayfair street made famous by David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust album cover.

Each of their locations have their own unique style and individuality, and Little Green was no exception. As with all of their stunning spaces, huge statement art-pieces adorn their walls, complimented by an array of quirky, contemporary furniture and fittings – surely one to make it to the list of some of the top instagrammable locations in London.

We were seated upstairs where it was bright and airy, the vast space illuminated by the natural sunlight coming through the large windows.

They certainly serve some of the best coffees in London, and as ever I didn’t hesitate to order my favourite creamy flat white, followed by something a bit stronger; Guava bellini – as part of my five-a-day, obviously.

Even though I was tempted to veer away from my regular order, my craving for their Fancy Bacon Roll was just too strong – paratha roti topped with bacon, two perfectly poached eggs, holy f*ck hollandaise (!), and finished off with crispy onions. I also added a side of avocado, one of my favourite brunch items. The Bondi was just as hearty and appetizing, a merry combination of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, avocado, and more poached eggs, all served on top of slices of charcoal toast.
For those looking to try out something different, they have a couple of new savoury additions to their brunch menu, including the sweetcorn & spring green fritters, and the Benny Boy.

Last but not least, a must-order every time I visit one of their branches: their award-winning banana bread sandwich, topped with a generous dollop of mascarpone, fresh berries, toasted almonds and a sweet drizzle of honey. If you’re ever having a bad day, this will surely lift your spirits!
Lucky to be blessed with the glorious sunshine during the long Easter weekend, I took the opportunity to order my first Aperol Spritz of the year – summertime, I’m ready for you!

For those looking for an indulgent treat, why not try their Bottomless Brunch, which is available from 10am Monday – Saturday and from noon on Sundays.

With such a strategic central location, Little Green is the perfect pit stop for Regent Street shoppers, business power lunches and intimate evening drinks – I’m looking forward to returning soon to enjoy an Aperol Spritz or two in the warmer summer months to come. And probably a cheeky side of banana bread sandwich, just because.
